Mrs. Fidwidge's secret plot to sabotage Kite Festival uncovered

What happened

During Napkin-Folding class, Dash noticed Mrs. Fidwidge crouching behind her desk and disappearing through a secret trapdoor. Dash and Ellen approached and found steps going down to a secret chamber with muffled voices. Using an insect-spy-cam deployed through the trapdoor, they observed a secret meeting between Fidwidge, Devil-Cat, and the Cheese-Scallywags. Fidwidge revealed she had arranged for the kite storeroom to be flooded (by diverting water from the school fountain through the air conditioning duct), and for Hompas to be kidnapped and placed in the kite loft to chew the kites. Her aim was to get Mr. K. fired so she could become Kite-Meister, take over the K-kite empire, and use the money to buy Swedhump Elementary and turn it into a kite factory.

Resolution

The full plot was exposed via insect-spy-cam. Dash and friends hatched a plan to stop Fidwidge.
