Marble Day Competition

What happened

The annual Marble Day competition at Swedhump Elementary takes place across five rounds. Dash advances through Rounds 1 to 4, defeating Yunn Pirivitt, Olly Voil (whose final throw accidentally knocked Dash's marble into the center), and Gronville Honkersmith (via a Newtonian-Cradle Monoeuvre). Ellen defeats Minnie Amblewidge and Lenwold Fiddich (whose attempt at the Newtonian-Cradle Monoeuvre goes wide when Ellen hiccups). The final between Dash and Ellen is interrupted before it can be played.

Resolution

The final is cancelled after the Uppacrombian Amber is stolen and recovered; Mrs. Rosebank later awards the marble jointly to Dash and Ellen.
