Uppacrombian Amber
Arguably the most famous, and perhaps the most valuable, marble in the world. It is almost the size of a watermelon.
It was made over 700 years ago by Theodonious Uppacrombian himself. It stayed in the Uppacrombian family for three hundred years before it was stolen. About 200 years ago it surfaced on a coral reef off one of the islands of the Pampagonian Archipelago, recovered by a marine biologist aboard the Entwhistle. It eventually reached Swedhump Elementary by way of Mr. Rosebank's great grandfather.
It is believed to have a secret power, and it does. Shine a blue beam into it and it produces a quadruple-rainbow.
The terms of stewardship are precise. Whoever wins it has one year, and if they discover its secret power within that year, they keep it forever. It has been owned by Lenwold Fiddich, stolen by Devil-Cat, and has since come to rest with Dash Candoo and Ellen Ellenbogen.
