K-Kite
Extraordinarily versatile and easy-to-use kites, invented by Herrodonious Karakorum, better known as Mr. K., and sold around the world. They are popular enough that the business makes millions of dollars every year.
The secret is the triple-calibration of the leading-edge, which allows air intake with simultaneous lift. The kites are made of K-fab, a top-secret, semi-porous, highly flexible fabric strengthened with krypto-fibers.
Only four High Performance K-Kites, or HPKKs, have ever been built. All four sit in a vault at The Sniffsonian. They are not on public display, for copyright reasons, but may be reviewed upon request.
