Plank Bending Device
This is a device that bends planks. If activated upside-down, it unbends (straightens) planks.
Invented by Mr. Rosebank. Manufactured under license by Rajak Industries.
When Dudley Rosebank was a teenager, he got a job in the local pasta factory (Trinchero Pastas). The owner, Guiseppe Trinchero, was increasingly worried about their PNOA (Primary Noodle Output Actuator). The noodles coming out of the Exit Flask were not bent enough. But despite hiring the region's top technicians, they could not solve the problem.
Then Dudley Rosebank had his brilliant idea. Attach a device OUTSIDE the Exit Flask of the PNOA, i.e. bend the noodles at the END of the process.
Mr. Trinchero was impressed with the idea and so funded the research. Within weeks they had the first NBD (Noodle Bending Device). And it worked brilliantly. As a reward, Mr. Trinchero quadrupled Dudley's salary. Dudley used the money to expand the capability of the NBD to other materials, including:
- PB (Plank Bending)
- TB (Toast Bending)
- WB (Wire Bending)
- OB (Opinion Bending)
When Horatio Rajak, CEO of Rajak Industries heard about the PBD, he purchased a 30 year license from Dudley, and it is one of the company's most successful products. It is especially popular in the boat-building industry.
