King Cockroach
Nobody has any idea who, or what, King Cockroach is. Nobody knows whether he actually exists, what he looks like, where he lives, or what kind of food he eats. What is known, with total confidence, is that he is totally terrifying.

A person-insect-thing, by the available accounts. He is said to lurk in fields, or behind curtains, watching disapprovingly over children engaged in mischief.
One rule governs him absolutely. If you swear to King Cockroach, you must follow through. In all of recorded history, nobody has ever sworn to King Cockroach and failed to do so. Nobody intends to be the first.
