Norbert Niblett
Norbert Niblett was a famous navigator and walrus impersonator who first landed in the area over 400 years ago. Niblett Beach is named after him.
He started early. He built his first boat at age five and sailed it across the family fish pond, built another at seven for the local duck pond, and by nine had built the HMS Niblettius and made his first solo ocean crossing. By twelve he was a world-famous navigator.
The walrus side of the resume is just as decorated. At fifteen he infiltrated the Royal Rock Pool of Western Possington, the world's largest walrus colony. Over 4,000 walruses attended his wedding to Norma Niblett.
